Ointments

Ointments are like creams, but they don't have water in them. They have oils and herbs heated together, which form a layer on top of your skin. Ointments can help protect your skin and carry medicine to areas that need it. For example, they can be useful for things like hemorrhoids, chapped lips, or diaper rash.

There are many different types of ointments, and they can be made with different ingredients to give them different textures. You can make a basic ointment by mixing petroleum jelly or soft paraffin wax with herbs. You can also make ointments with other ingredients, like coconut oil or olive oil.

To make an ointment, you melt the ingredients together and add the herbs. Then you strain the mixture and pour it into jars. You can use the ointment up to three times a day, and it can last for up to three months if you store it in a dark glass jar with a lid.
